YEAR 8
Building Strong Connections
Head of Year 8
Last week, Year 8 Food Technology students completed their practical assessment by preparing salad jars. As both their Head of Year and classroom teacher, I was pleased with the effort, creativity, and attention to detail they demonstrated. It was great to see them apply the design process and finish the term on a high note.
As this class wraps up for the term, I look forward to welcoming a new group of Year 8 students next term and supporting them as they build their skills in the kitchen.
As Term 2 comes to a close, it has been great to see Year 8 students continuing to build connections with one another, their teachers, and the wider school community. From camp to classroom, they have shown positive growth and engagement. I wish all families a safe and restful break and look forward to seeing students return refreshed for Term 3.
