Welcome back Zac
We’re thrilled to welcome Zac back to Beaumaris North OSHC! Zac was an integral part of our team from 2014 until 2023 before continuing his journey in full time teaching. Since welcoming his new little baby girl Aurelia, he’s been popping back into BNPS as a CRT and we're delighted that he’ll now be joining us here at OSHC one afternoon a week.
Many of our older students remember Zac fondly and are absolutely buzzing to have him back- our program feels just that bit more complete with his smiling face once again with us!
LaraBird Creative Program
The LaraBird creative craft classes run by a talented BNPS parent Becca have taken off wonderfully this term, thank you to all the families and children who've shared such glowing feedback. It’s been a joy to see little artists transform ideas into amazing masterpieces! We can't wait to watch more creations come to life in Term 3. Stay inspired and keep crafting!
Emergency Drills
Last Tuesday, August 5 we ran a practice emergency evacuation drill as part of our commitment to safety protocols. These drills are conducted every 90 days in line with regulatory requirements.
We’re proud to say the children were fantastic, calm, focused and took the drill seriously.
You can support this safety habit at home by reminding your child how important it is to treat these drills as practice to stay safe in real emergencies.
Policy Feedback
Our draft "Safe Use of Digital Technologies & Online Environments" policy is now available for review! This policy outlines how we use and protect digital tools and ensure online safety in a child-safe environment.
We warmly invite you to take a look and share your feedback your insights are valuable as we finalise it. Please feel free to see Kelly next time you're at OSHC.
Cancellation Policy / Absences
Please be reminded of our Cancellation policy: “Permanent and booked care shall be charged at the full fee unless prior written notice of at least 8 days is given to advise of a cancellation, or a doctor’s certificate within 48 hours is supplied to the Coordinator. If no cancellation is received or cancellations are made after the specified time, the fee for the session will be charged. Persistent cancellations or cancellations for an extended period may jeopardise the child’s permanent place in the program.
Please also note that if your child is home from school or sent home from school during the day and you let us at OSHC know PRIOR to the session start time, we will not charge you the fee for the session.
