Farmers Market

Rotary Farmer’s Market – Join Us This Sunday!

We’re delighted to welcome the Rotary Club’s Farmer’s Market back to Beaumaris North Primary School this Sunday from 9am to 1pm.

This monthly market is a wonderful way to connect with our local community, enjoy fresh produce, handmade goods, and a relaxed weekend vibe. It’s a fun outing for the whole family—and a great chance to support local growers and makers.

Rotary does incredible work both locally and globally, and we’re especially grateful for their generous donations to our school, which help fund valuable programs and resources for our students.

Rotary is offering a free sausage voucher to Beaumaris North students as a little incentive to come along and enjoy the morning.

We hope to see many of you there—thank you for supporting this fantastic community initiative!

Science

Kerri McLeod,(Principal Liaison Officer) greatly enjoyed the experience of working with students last week as she conducted all of the science lessons in Dani Wilsons absence.  This opportunity gave her an insight into their knowledge and understanding of a broad range of scientific concepts.

The students were involved in a range of challenges to determine their awareness around the four key areas of science :

Biological, chemical, physical and earth space science,

Student Led Conferences

Student Led Conferences are an important part of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and provide an excellent opportunity for parents, students and teachers to reflect on student progress.

The teachers are looking forward to seeing you on either Tuesday 19 August or Wednesday 20 August.

Book Week Parade

BNPS will be holding our annual 2025 Book Parade on Tuesday 19 August at 9.10AM. We encourage our students to dress up as a book character of their choice. They may choose to also carry the book that their inspiration came from as they enjoy the parade.

We would like to extend an invitation to our parents to attend our Book Week Parade. The Children’s Book Week theme for 2025 is Book an Adventure.

The feature artist for the year, Jess McGeachin, has brilliantly captured this adventurous spirit in his artwork, which features a whimsical map filled with imaginary characters. Jess’ illustration invites young readers to embark on fantastical journeys, inspiring them to travel through the worlds that books open up. As an award-winning Australian picture book illustrator, Jess’ work encourages children to imagine, explore, and create their own adventures.

2025 is also a milestone year Book Week as they celebrate 80 years of Children’s Book Week! For 8 decades, CBCA has been dedicated to inspiring young minds to journey through the countless worlds that books offer. Jess’ imaginative artwork reflects this mission perfectly, encouraging children to set off on adventures through time, lands, and imagination.

We are looking forward to seeing the colourful

array of costumes worn by your children for our parade.

Daffodil Day

The Wellbeing Team with the support of SAT are organising for students to wear a touch of yellow and give a gold coin donation on Friday 29 August (Daffodil Day) to raise money for the Cancer Council.
