English Books Coming Home For Sharing & Celebration!
Get ready to celebrate your child's learning journey in English!
Next Friday (Week 9), your child will bring home their English book, filled with fantastic work and progress. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to share their learning with you and for you to provide encouragement and celebrate their achievements.
Inside their book, you'll find a Parent Reflection and Celebration Slip. We invite you to take a moment to leave a comment, share your thoughts, and acknowledge your child's efforts. We look forward to continuing our partnership and working together to help your child thrive and grow in their faith, learning, and well-being so they can truly live life to the full.
Please ensure all English books are returned to school on Monday 30 June 2025 (Week 10).

SJB Adventure Playground
It’s all happening at the Adventure Playground!
It’s been a fun and busy term getting our imaginary play area up and running.
We now have a beautiful sensory garden filled with textured plants and water play, plus dinosaurs and trucks roaring around — making recess and lunch an exciting time to play and let imaginations run wild.
Our latest addition is the fairy garden! Year 5 and their Kindergarten buddies had a great time creating dolls for the play space and so did Year 1 and Year 6.
Stay tuned — there’s more fun to come!

Sport
SJB Athletics Carnival
Our school Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday 2 July, at the Kerryn McCann Athletics Track (Beaton Park), Gwynneville. All students will participate in events as part of a rotation grid.
The athletics carnival requires the support of our parents to run smoothly. Any parents who are able to assist with the carnival's running are asked to indicate this in the question tab. As always, your time and assistance on the day of the carnival will be very much appreciated, so thank you in advance if you are able to act as a carnival official.
Please see the COMPASS event on the Parent Portal.
