Semester Report Features

It's important to us that families get as much value as possible from their child's Semester Report. Our teachers put a lot of care and time into developing Learning Tasks and Semester Reports for our families.

Here is a quick guide to the main Semester Report features:

The Progression (Dot) Points – based on a breadth of assessment sources, where your child is judged to be working against the Victorian Curriculum achievement standards in each Learning Area at this point of the school year.

Approaches to Learning - indicates the personal, interpersonal, emotional and social skills that your child demonstrates in the classroom.

Learning Task Summary – Learning Tasks for this semester are listed with a brief overview of each task and the overall ‘grading statement’ determined by the teacher.

Comments – a general comment written by your child’s teacher which aims to provide a summary of your child’s semester. The Student Comment provides an opportunity to include the voice of the student on their Semester Report.

Specialist Pages – each specialist has used assessment to provide a judgement of your child’s engagement and progress against three learning statements, in addition to the Approaches to Learning.
