This term students have been working on their dancing and acting skills. 

 

Foundation have been working on following a narrator and acting out a story called ‘Going to the Show’. This has a great activity to improve students’ skills in listening and cooperation. 

 

Year 1/2 students have been acting out the story of 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. It has been most impressive to see students’ enthusiasm and willingness to speak in a ‘stage voice’, which is much louder than their normal speaking voice. 

 

Year 3/4 students have been learning how to do the ‘Nutbush’ dance, which is a traditional Australian line dance often performed as parties and other events. It has been impressive to see students' enthusiasm and skill development.

 

Year 5/6 students have been developing their ‘stage voice’ and ability to speak publicly. They have also been working on adding personality to their voices.
