We had our first PFA meeting of 2025 and it was great! We met at the Northport where we had a meal and a couple of drinks while discussing the year ahead. It was lovely to catch up again and have some new faces too.
During the meeting we discussed starting a “Donations Committee” you may have seen a WhatsApp message mentioning this. Donations are a huge part of us raising money for the school. All of our raffle prizes are items that have been donated by our wonderful community.
The first event in need of donations is the Mothers Day Lunch. If you would like to join the “Donations Committee” or just help with donations for the Mothers Day Lunch, please reach out ASAP.
When: Friday 28 February
Tickets: $12 available on the event page on the Parent Hub.
On Friday 28 February head over to Garden City Reserve straight from school and enjoy watching your kids be drenched in colour while you get to catch up with old and new friends from PMPS.
The course will be clearly marked out with smiling faces along the course whose main goal is to douse them in colourful powder to ensure that they look like they have run through a beautiful rainbow by the time they cross the finish line.
Bring a picnic rug, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, white or light coloured t-shirt, sunglasses or goggles and get creative with accessories in your house colours!
There will be a sausage sizzle and soft drinks to purchase.
Tickets are $12 each for students and includes an afternoon snack.
Purchase your tickets via the hub.
Every year the PFA holds an AGM - this is where the 4 lead roles are elected.
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer.
If you’re interested in any of these roles for 2025, please reach out to myself via WhatsApp or email- pmpsparentsandfriends@gmail.com
When: 17 March - 4 April
We will start asking for donations for our Easter Raffle - anything and everything Easter is welcome! Raffle tickets (books of 15) will be sent home 2-3 weeks prior to Easter. Raffle prizes to be dropped to the classrooms on the last day of term.
We would love new people to join, so if you’re keen, please reach out to Kate Esam at pmpsparentsandfriends@gmail.com
