Grandparent's Day - 26th July 2024

You are all warmly welcome to join us for Grandparent's Day...

Week 1 -  Friday 26th July 2024

Grandparent's Day Plan:

We will have tea and coffee in the COLA from 8-9am

Whole School Mass - 9am

After Mass - Grandparents can visit their grandchild/ren's classrooms where classes will be completing a "Grandparent's Day" themed activity.

Grandparents day is celebrated on the Feast Day of St Joachim and St Ann - Jesus' grandparents.

Dearest Saints Joachim and Anne,

Pray that our families may grow in holiness and that our homes may become grace filled sanctuaries of love

By your powerful intercession, protect and guide all grandparents that they may be great examples of faith.

Amen

Together we 'Grow in Strength',

Nicole Moss

Religious Education Coordinator

Nano’s Lanterns - Community Meal Service

Thank you to everyone who registered to become a "Nano’s Lantern''.  We made our first deliveries this week and hope to continue to serve our community for as long as the need arises. It's not too late if you would like to join the team! Just click on the link -  Nano’s Lanterns

If cooking isn't your thing, we would welcome donations of chocolates, biscuits, Uber Eats, Dominos Pizza, Woolworths & Coles vouchers.

Nano’s Lanterns is aimed at assisting members of our school community who are going through challenging times. Whether it's coping with the loss of a loved one, facing illness or injury, experiencing financial difficulties, or simply feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day demands, "Nano’s Lanterns" is here to provide support.

Nano's Lanterns is not only to lend a helping hand during tough moments but to celebrate joyous occasions such as the arrival of new babies, when families could use a helping hand.

If you or anyone you know would benefit from a homecooked meal please email ann.woodhouse01@syd.catholic.edu.au. All request are strictly confidential.
