SEMESTER ONE REPORTS

With the end of term approaching, teachers are finalising assessments, updating Compass learning tasks and writing reports. On the end of semester reports, there will be a variety of information available, depending on the year level of the student.

  • Students in Years 7-9 will receive a teacher judgement against the Victorian Curriculum, as well as a mark reflecting their progress against the MYP Criterion A-D this semester.
  • Students in year 10 will receive a teacher judgement against the Victorian Curriculum. Students will also have their end of semester exam result recorded on reports for both English and Maths.
  • Students in VCE subjects will receive a unit outcome (S or N) as well as their end of unit exam result.

If families need assistance accessing and understanding the reports, then the following articles and videos are available on the College ICT knowledgebase:

Families are encouraged to read the reports in conjunction with relevant Learning tasks on compass for feedback on areas of strength and areas of improvement. We encourage students to reflect on their progress and set a goal for semester 2. If parents have questions about their end of semester reports or learning tasks, then please email the classroom teacher via compass.

MESC Semester reports will be available to families to view on the afternoon of Friday 28th June via compass.
