Education Week

This year, Education Week runs from Monday 13 May to Friday 17 May. The theme, Spotlight on STEM, celebrates the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in our everyday lives, in the classroom and beyond.

Armstrong Creek School will be celebrating Education Week by shining a ‘spotlight’ on the teaching and learning of Maths across the school as this has been a major focus for our teachers and students over the past 2 years in particular.

On Monday, ACS teaching staff will participate in a Maths Fluency professional learning session led by our ‘Primary Maths and Science Specialist (PMSS) team.

Further to this, Armstrong Creek School will also be hosting two open afternoon’s during Education Week where we welcome all parents, carers and members of our school community to come into our classrooms and engage in playing a range of Maths Fluency games with our students.

Open Classrooms

Prep, Year 1, Year 2 classes: Tuesday 14th May from 2:45 – 3:10pm 

Years 3-12 classes: Wednesday 15th May from 2:45 – 3:10pm
