Teddy Bear’s Picnic
On Acacias lawns last Friday, an atmosphere of excitement filled the air as the Reception students and our Senior Student Executive gathered for a fun-filled Teddy Bears picnic. It was heartwarming to see the strong connection among students as they brought along their cherished teddies, creating a memorable experience for all involved. Thank you to the Year 12 girls for organising this special event.
Cyber Safety Workshops
In our commitment to ensuring a safe and secure online environment for our students, we held Cybersafe Workshops for our year 4-6 students and families this week. In today's digital age, it is crucial for everyone to be well-informed about the opportunities and threats that the online world presents. At Cybersafe Families, they emphasise the importance of fostering suitable, technology-inclusive environments that are appropriate for the different stages of each student's life. Thank you to all the parents who supported this informative evening.
NAPLAN
Our Year 3 and 5 students recently completed the NAPLAN testing, a National Assessment Program for Literacy and Numeracy conducted across Australia. The girls all approached the assessments with determination, resilience, and focus. I would like to thank the teaching staff who supported our students through this process and for their commitment to fostering a learning environment that nurtures academic excellence and overall growth. Congratulations to all on a job well done!
Mobile Device Policy Reminder
This is just a quick reminder for all students in Reception to Year 6. Please remember that mobile phones should be handed to staff at the Junior School Reception School for secure storage until the end of the school day, and smart watches should be stored in a container with the classroom teacher. Thank you for your cooperation.
