Loreto Community Environment Day Tree Dedication

Loreto Ladies' Lunch

Our annual Loreto Ladies' Lunch took place last Sunday 24 March. We were very privileged to hear our wonderful old scholar Sarah Gun (class of '83) share her stories, from her time at Loreto, to her journey in starting up GOGO Events and later the GOGO Foundation. Sarah inspired us with her talk on how she is making changes within the social enterprise scope. With her team, she is improving the lives of underprivileged and disadvantaged women, providing opportunities in employment, study and training. It was a heartfelt reminder as to what more we, the community, can be doing to help raise awareness and share our privilege with others. The event raised funds for the school oval (Cotters Green) turf renovations, to deliver Loreto as a premium host venue for girls’ co-curricular sports. A huge thank you to all those who contributed to this lovely afternoon, Penn Shoes, Kimberley Kennedy, Davroe Hair Care, Kylie McCullah, Lambrook Wines, Riedel Glassware and to the Parents and Friends Committee for their contributions to volunteering in the organising and running of the event on the day. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved.
