Prayer  for our Community

Dear God,

We ask for a flourishing community, where neighbours learn to love each other and come to know Jesus.

We pray that we can be good stewards of Your love to each one of our neighbors. We ask that You help us to learn from our community, and it may be a place where all are welcomed.

Amen

Dear Families,

The above prayer is a prayer for our community and a positive message to us all. It does, however, challenge us in a world that is too often divided by race, religion and histories which continue to shape our thoughts and opinions. I am sure we all pray for a world where there is peace and genuine acceptance and in achieving this each of us can contribute in many small ways.

From the 18th of March until the 24th of March we celebrate Harmony Week and today, as a symbol of Harmony all our children were asked to wear a touch of orange which has become the colour of Harmony. Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. This year's Harmony Week theme is, "Everyone Belongs".

Student Free School Closure Days on Monday 15th April and Friday 26th April

A reminder that there will be no school for students on Monday 15th April and Friday 26th April.  Staff will be present and working with MACS staff in preparation for our whole school review.

Parking and Safety

Another reminder about parking restrictions around our school. In particular if you are arriving late and dropping off in front of the school please be aware that there is a No Standing area (See photo) where a number of families lately have received parking infringement notices. Not a great start to anyone's day.

Open Day

Our next Open Day will be held on Wednesday 17th April.

Families are also welcome to call and book individual tours any day throughout the week.
