VOCABULARY

Multiplication - a mathematical operation which involves repeated addition.

Worded problem - a math question written as one sentence or more that requires children to apply their math knowledge to a 'real-life' scenario.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Have your child create a worded multiplication problem inspired by their life. 

Then have them answer the question and justify their answer by using another strategy.
