Book Club

You should have received the Scholastic Book Club Issue 7 catalogue last week.  This is the last book club that we will be doing this year.  If by chance you don’t have a catalogue and would like one, please let me know.   

You might find some great ideas for gifts for the end of the year, stocking fillers, or Christmas gifts.  Did you know that every purchase you make on Book Club earns our school Scholastic Rewards? We use these to purchase more books and educational resources for the library. It all helps!

Peregrines in the City

We have had the live stream of the 367 Collins Street, Melbourne Peregrine Falcon’s nest.  There are now three young falcons that look like little fluff balls.  We have been reading the book “Peregrines in the City” which is about these birds nesting in Melbourne. 

Fun Fact – Falcons have been using this nest since 1991.
