Hello Foundation Families,

This week foundation was welcomed into the new building! They were very excited to look around and see all the amazing new classrooms.

In writing we started looking at poetry and rhyming. Students explored nursery rhymes and wrote their own acrostic poems as well as practiced with different rhyming words.

Our maths lessons looked at days of the week and months of the year. As guided inquiry is exploring farming, planting, and harvesting, this was a great opportunity for us to explore different seasons and when it is best to plant different types of vegetables. Students chose their own crop to harvest with their combine harvester craft.
