Year 11 News

Tim Pitt & Taylor Shelley | Year 11 Coordinators

Well done Year 11’s on a great start to Term 4. As we begin to approach the end of the academic year, we have some information and reminders to help you all finish strong.

  • Year 11 Exams will take place in Week 6. Please use the next week and a half to prepare yourself, review your materials, and seek help from your teachers if needed. Remember to stay organized and manage your time wisely. We wish you all the best in your exams!

  • Year 12 Headstart is scheduled for Weeks 7 and 8. Attendance is essential, as the content covered in these two weeks will not be repeated next year. You might also be given holiday homework/revision that will be crucial to your return in 2025.

  • The timetables for both Exams and Headstart will be released as soon as possible. They are currently going through the final editing processes. Please note: the teacher you have for Headstart classes will not necessarily be the teacher you will have for that subject in 2025.

  • Your final day of school will be Friday the 29th of November. See the Year 11 Team if you require a letter from an employer to allow you to work after this date has passed. If you have plans to exit school and not return in 2025, also see the Year 11 Team and we will give you an exit form and run you through the requirements of this process.

If you have any questions about any of the above points, come and see Mrs Gardy, Mrs Shelley or Mr Pitt in the Year 11/12 office.
