It's hard to believe that we are already 4 weeks through the final term of 2024! As students at alternate programs are continuing to work at achieving great outcomes for the year, despite whatever barriers might be put in their way. We are very proud of them.
A few upcoming dates to be aware of are:
In week 2 of this term, we held the latest of our regular alternate programs advisory committee meetings. These meetings bring together various community organisations and key staff at alternate programs to discuss our program offerings, our progress towards our goals for 2024, and give opportunities for these groups to have input into the work we do. If any parents or guardians have any feedback about the work that we do, please feel free to reach out on 0473-238-253 to have a chat.
Congratulations to the McKenzie Creek group on a successful camp this week. The group have spent 3 fun-filled days in Port Fairy and Warrnambool. A big thank you to Ben, Ronnie, and Pascall for supporting the students to have this opportunity.
As always, please remember to reach out to your child's teacher if you have any immediate concerns about their program, or if your child will be absent on any given day.

Congratulations to the six students who have successfully completed the two units offered this year. Students have worked diligently on BSBTEC201 Use business software applications and BSBTWK201 Work effectively with others from Cert II in workplace skills. They have achieved a credit towards their school certificate and will have a statement of attainment to put with their resume. Well done for persisting you all deserve the success…Dave.
