National Bandanna Day Supporting Canteen

Eltham High School is helping to support young cancer patients and their families. On Thursday 24 October, the Student Voice and Leadership Team are wanting as many Eltham High students and teachers, family and community members as possible to be wearing bandanas in support. 

 

Bandanas will be available before school in the canteen courtyard. They are $7 each and donate to a good cause and come in many designs that you can choose from. It is a cashless purchase through a QR code.

Be Wise Walk

On November 24 Eltham High School will be participating in the Be Wise Walk, in support of the Pat Cronin Foundation. This event aims to raise awareness about the devastating impact of the coward punch while fostering a stronger sense of community. 

 

Bring your friends, family, and pets to take on the 8km walk from Heidelberg to Lower Plenty. We are hoping to walk as a school community, showing our commitment and appreciation for the work of the Pat Cronin Foundation in educating our young people.

Share The Dignity's #itsinthebag Donation Drive

Come help Eltham High's Harmony and Student Voice and Leadership teams to raise awareness and donations for Share the Dignity's #itsinthebag donation drive.

 

We will be encouraging our community to collect donations of essential items to someone in need this Christmas!

 

So, when, where and what?

 

Our donation boxes will be available from Monday 28 October until 25 November!

 

Donations needed include everyday essentials such as:

  • Period products (pads and tampons - new, unopened)
  • Shampoo (full size preferred)
  • Conditioner (full size preferred)
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Deodorant (roll-on preferred)
  • Soap or body wash

We will also be in need of handbags or backpacks in new or excellent used condition.

 

All donations will have a collection box in each sub school or the General Office.

 

After donations have been collect the Harmony and Student voice and leadership teams will create bags and drop them off at the Share the Dignity's donation point located at Bunnings Eltham.
