REMINDER- Late Stay/ Sleepover 

The time has arrived for Foundation and Grade 1/2 students to have some fun with their Late Stay and Sleepover. The theme this year is Halloween! We look forward to a fun and enjoyable evening Thursday afternoon/night.

Book Recommendation by Tom F

Tom recommended the book Bunny vs Monkey by Jamie Smarts. The graphic novel involves the main characters of Bunny, Monkey, Weeny, Pig, Skunky, Action Beaver, Le Fox and Metal Steve. The novel is set in the woods where Monkey plans to destroy the woods with Skunky;s genius inventions while Bunny, Weeny, Pig and Le Fox stop him. He would recommend the book to Years 3 and up and rates it 5/5 stars.

Calder Cricket

Last Thursday, 24th October, Charlton College Yr. 5/6 students competed in the annual Calder Cricket Carnival in Boort. Teams were comprised of students, from Charlton College, St. Joseph's, Boort DS, Pyramid Hill College, St. Patrick's (Pyramid Hill), Wedderburn College and Wycheproof P-12.  Congratulations to all students for displaying great enthusiasm, sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the day. Special mention to Sam C and Shalmain D for being part of the winning team (coached by Mr. Kemp) and also to Matthew E for being awarded with a sportsmanship prize. 

 

Thank you to parents and students for showing up to the Year 6 to 7 Transition Information night, last night! Miss Nicholls was very pleased to meet everyone and is looking forward to working with all the future Year 7s at the transition days coming up!
