(German for the Future)
OKTOBERFEST 2024
Our annual whole-school Oktoberfest celebration will be held on Thursday, 17th October 2024.
Students are invited to come dressed in a Bavarian costume (Dirndlkleid or Lederhosen), or the German flag colours (black, red, and gold/yellow) or the Bavarian flag colours (blue and white).
As part of the festivities, students are able to order a traditional large, savoury German-style pretzel and/or a gingerbread heart to be distributed on Oktoberfest day.

This week we designed and made a class fruit salad (Obstsalat) and ate it together.

Essen und Getränke (Food and Drink)
This week we did a blind-fold taste testing activity, where students had to use their taste buds to identify a variety of different foods and then complete a table in German expressing whether they like or dislike the foods.
