Rugby
On Saturday, the Rugby Department were very spread out with teams travelling to Central Coast Grammar School, Oxley St Joseph’s and St Ignatius' Riverview for a great day of fixtures. There were many tight contests that did not quite go our way, none more so than the mighty 16Bs who despite scoring more tries than the opposition, still went down by one. These are days that provide lessons not only relevant for rugby but life in general. Huge congratulations to the 15Bs who had a 3 – 0 win in an old fashion contest against Oxley and the 13Ds who had a very powerful performance against St Augustine’s winning 34 – 7.
Best of luck to all Rugby teams for this Saturday as we take on Oakhill for Back to Breen Day!
Football
Semi-final time! First of all, well done to those Football teams whose season has come to an end. While the results may not have gone your way this season, the lessons and memories with your teammates are the most important thing.
Congratulations to the Fourth XI, 16A, 14A, 13D and 13G Football teams who go straight through to the Grand Final! We then have fifteen teams competing for a place in the Grand Final, including the First and Second XI. Best of luck and enjoy the experience.
Tennis
In a very disrupted season, two of our ten Tennis teams have gone through to the finals. Congratulations to the Division 2 and Division 10 Teams as they prepare for one more week of competition. Playing is certainly a privilege so make it count!
Thank you to all involved for your hard work!
