Mini Vinnies Update

WINTER APPEAL

The Mini Vinnies team are sad to announce that the Winter Appeal has come to an end. We are extremely proud of the efforts everyone put in. Overall, we have raised 414 donations, each of the classes giving in generous amounts of canned food, milk, coffee, tea, biscuits and toiletry items. We would like to thank Mrs Cowan and Signora Pansino for helping to make this appeal possible. 

St Vincent de Paul has collectd all our items and they were amazed by the generosity of all at COHR! Again, we would like to thank all of you for your generous donations throughout this season. You have helped many families at the St Vincent de Paul Society who are struggling to make it through Winter. 

We would like to congratulate the winning class, who donated continuously throughout this Winter, 5/6C, with 116 donations! 

They will be rewarded with a casual clothes day

 - we will let you now the day they choose. 

MINI VINNIES NETWORKING CONFERENCE

Last Friday, the 30th of August, some of the members of the Mini Vinnies team had the privilege of attending the Mini Vinnies Conference at Nazareth College. We learnt so much from the other schools who were there and presented their ideas. We showcased our presentation that we created to the other schools, which was about the 2024 Winter Appeal. It was very successful and along the way we made many new friends. 

From the Conference we have so many wonderful ideas of events we can organise to continue our Mini Vinnies. We look forward to sharing them with you.
