MLC GOAT HERDER GROUP - 

Students from the Goat Herder Group have been extremely busy researching countries that have been competing in the Olympic Games. The criteria were based on basic facts, location, flag, famous people and 2024 Olympians. The finale for the task was to do an oral presentation in front of their peers. Congratulations to all the students involved. 👏👏👏

MLC Mini Olympics 

For the last couple of weeks, the MLC have divided into 14 different nations to compete in our very own Olympic Games. The students showed great sportsmanship, determination and competitiveness in all the events. So much fun was had and was a great way to get in the swing of things leading up to our Athletics carnival. 

Water Week Stories 

The MLC have been working hard to create short picture books to enter into the GV Water Week competition. The students have been responsible for writing and publishing a story themed around water, they were all fantastic and we think the judges will have a very hard time picking a winner. It seems as though we may have some budding authors and illustrators on our hands in the future. 

Year 4 Mass 

On Wednesday Year 4 attended Wednesday morning Mass at the church with Father Junjun. We had lots of students do a great job of readings and the offertory procession. We were very happy when Father Junjun included our favourite final hymn, My Lighthouse.  The Year 4's have done a fantastic job of learning and remembering the routines of mass, if you get the chance to get to a weekend mass you can see their new learning in action!
