Prep 2026 applications for enrolment are now open. Please speak to your family and friends in our school community to remind them to enrol their child for next year. The earlier the enrolment, the more we can support the family with a strong transition process.
Applications for enrolment are available by completing this online application form.
School tours are also happening regularly, hosted by the School Principal and Student Leaders.

Prep 2026 enrolment applications are due online by Friday 25th July 2025.
Once again families are invited to join us for a whole school Breakfast Club on Friday 9th May. Breakfast will be served either from the Breakfast Club space or gymnasium, depending on the weather!
Come along and enjoy some time with your children and families from across all year levels and classes. We look forward to seeing you there.
A reminder that the Mothers and Special Others Stall is also on both Wednesday and Thursday 7th and 8th May. Vouchers can be purchased via Compass for one gift to the value of $10.00.
This week we held our first round of Family-Teacher Conversations for 2025. It was wonderful to see so many families coming along to engage with both their child and the class teacher to discuss student progress. The next round of Conversations will be held at the end of Term 3.
As you may be aware, the school is significantly investing in the improvement of our student toilets. A big thanks goes to everyone who completed the Family Feedback Survey in Term One where this was raised, which supported the planning we had in place to start the transformation!
Over the term break, we were able to re-build parts of the walls and floors that were in a very dire state. In conjunction, we updated cisterns for the toilets and urinals.
A big thank you also goes to our students who have heard our request for treating our toilets with a higher level of respect. So far, things are looking positive and we look forward to making further improvements throughout the term/year.
This year the theme is 'Celebration of Cultures'. At Hillsmeade, we will be offering a range of activities for students to participate in both in the classroom and during lunchtime.
Students are not to attend on this day as staff will be participating in assessment and reporting professional learning.
OSHC will be available - please contact TeamKids if you require assistance. You can access this service via email info@teamkids.com.au or call 1300 035 000 and press #1 if you have any questions.
PLEASE be aware that it is important to safely drop off and pick up your students by following the signage around the school.
I also ask that if you have specific concerns regarding accessibility for carparks and drop off/pick up arrangements that you let the City of Casey know about your experiences and issues. Unfortunately the school is unable to police this matter, although we try our best to address parking concerns with families as situations arise.
