🏑 Be Part of Mazenod Curtin Uni Hockey Club – Give It a Go This Thursday at school! 🏑

We’re on the lookout for new players, and whether you’ve played before or are completely new to the game, we’d love for you to come and give it a go!

 

Hockey is a great way to stay fit, build teamwork and have fun with your mates. Our experienced 7/8s coach, Jacob O. will be there to introduce you to the game, teach you some skills, and show you why hockey is an awesome sport to be a part of.

🏑 Coaching & Management Team for the 2025 Season!🏑

We are thrilled to announce the coaching and management teams for the 2025 season! 

 

7/8s Team 

Coach: Jacob O - Jacob led the 7/8s team to an outstanding 2024 season, culminating in a Grand Final victory and securing the premiership flag. His dedication, leadership, and passion for the game were instrumental in the team’s success. We look forward to watching him and the team continue to develop this season!

9/10s Team

Coach:   Aidan Hobbs - Aidan has been a dedicated coach at Curtin Uni Hockey club for the past couple of years, working with senior teams and playing a key role in their development. Last season, he led our Division 9 team to a well-earned finals berth, demonstrating his ability to build strong, competitive teams. He played alongside many state-level players, gaining valuable experience in high-level competition. His background as both a player and coach brings a wealth of knowledge to our club, and we’re excited to see his continued impact on our 9/10s team.

Coach: Adam Piggott - Adam guided the 9/10s team to an impressive 2024 season, leading them all the way to the Grand Final. His commitment and coaching expertise played a key role in their success. We look forward to seeing the team continue to grow this season!

With the season approaching, it's time to get the boys kitted out! This season we will use the Mazenod white sports shirts paired with blue Curtin shorts and orange Curtin socks.

🏑 Volunteers Needed!🏑

As we prepare for the season ahead, we still have a key volunteer position to fill. Our club relies on the support of our community, and we need your help! 


Communications Manager 

We’re on the lookout for a Communications Manager to help keep our members at Mazenod informed and engaged. This role involves managing club communications, including newsletters, social media updates, and general announcements. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy keeping people in the loop, we’d love to have you on board!
