P&F Easter Raffle - Closes Wednesday 9 April

Our P&F Easter Raffle will be closing as of midnight tonight. Tickets can only be purchased via Quickcliq, please use the QR code on the above flyer.

Project Compassion Boxes

Thank you to the families that have already returned their Project Compassion boxes. If you have a Project Compassion box at home with donations in it can these please be returned to your classroom by Friday.

Premier's Reading Challenge

The Premier’s Reading Challenge encourages students to discover the joy of reading, improve their literacy skills and enjoy amazing stories.

The challenge runs for 12 weeks from 7 April to 27 June 2025. To complete the challenge:

  • Kindergarten to Year 10 students read 12 or more books

  • Year 11 and 12 students read 6 or more books.

Reading isn’t just about books. Students can also log: 

  • short stories 

  • graphic novels 

  • eBooks 

  • talking books 

  • poetry 

  • audiobooks 

  • literary-based podcasts.  

There’s something to read at any age or reading level. 

 

Students who log their reading achievements each week have the chance to win exciting prizes! These weekly rewards recognise their dedication to the challenge, motivating them to enhance their reading skills while fostering a lifelong love of reading.  

 

At the end of the challenge, students receive a certificate signed by the Premier, celebrating and rewarding their amazing efforts.

ANZAC Day Service

St Helena's Catholic Primary School students from Year 1 to Year 6 will join with students from Ellenbrook Primary School for an ANZAC Day service on Thursday 1 May at 9:30am at the Woodlake Amphitheatre. All parents and caregivers are invited to attend.

Mother's Day Stall

The P&F will hold a Mother's Day stall on Friday 2 May. All students will visit the stall during the school day. Volunteers are needed for the running of the stall on the day, if you can assist please complete the form here.
