2026 Enrolments

The Department of Education has released the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2026 school year.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Clyde Primary School.

All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2025 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2026 school year.

You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Clyde Primary School from 22 April 2025.

What you need to do:

1. Contact our school by phoning 5998 5293 to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
2. Please register and log in to our enrolment portal – https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 25 July 2025. Please click on the following link for a guide on how to enrol your child Parent/Carer Guide to Enrol
3. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 28 July and Friday 8 August 2025 via the portal you submitted your application in. If you receive an enrolment offer, you will need to confirm if your child will be attending by Friday 22 August 2025.
4. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2025.
5. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 29th January 2026.

Enrolment applications submitted after 25 July 2025 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
