From the Prefects...

Dear Kinross Wolaroi Families,
Coming into the end of another busy and successful term, we want to take a moment to reflect on not only the vast achievements throughout the term, but also the resilience, determination and growth of our community that have made the achievements possible.
Throughout the term, our students have embraced challenges across every aspect of school life. Whether in the classroom, on the sporting field, on the stage, in the cadet unit, or through service to the community, students have consistently demonstrated a willingness to persevere, learn, and grow. While achievements are often what we celebrate, it is the effort behind them that deserves equal recognition. Resilience is not always seen in major victories or public accomplishments. More often, it is found in the student who continues working towards a goal despite setbacks. These moments of quiet perseverance are what build character and create lasting success.
Our school musical has been a wonderful representation of the outstanding determination and talent of our students. As we approach the upcoming intensive week, we reflect on the perseverance and teamwork demonstrated by the cast, crew, and staff, and we look forward to seeing their hard work come to life on stage.
We had an eventful weekend on the sporting field to conclude the term. Our Open Netball teams have continued to perform strongly, showing consistent improvement throughout the season and our Hockey and Soccer players this term have demonstrated strong dedication to their teams. The recent Kinross Wolaroi versus St Stanislaus' Rugby game was a highlight of the term. The Girls' Rugby match was a particular standout, with a win that reflected the commitment and hard work shown by the team throughout the season.
As we come to the finish, it is important we acknowledge the Kinross Wolaroi staff and parents that supported us throughout the term. Their encouragement and guidance provide the foundation for so many of the achievements we celebrate. We thank them for their ongoing commitment to our school community.
As the holidays approach, we encourage everyone to take time to rest and reflect on the progress made this term. Every challenge overcome and every step forward is something worth celebrating.
We wish all students, staff, and families a restful and enjoyable break and look forward to another exciting term ahead.
Kind Regards,
Julia Bligh
