From the Head of Senior School

Mr Trent Chapman, Executive Director - Head of Senior School

As we come to the close of Term 2, I would like to sincerely thank our students and staff for their sustained effort, commitment, and positive spirit across a full and demanding term. It has been a period marked by strong engagement in learning, co-curricular involvement, and the everyday contributions that underpin a thriving school community. Over the holiday break, we wish all those participating in school activities every success and enjoyment, including the Cadet Leadership Camp, Senior Ski Trip, Sydney Uni Rugby Camp, and Musical Rehearsal Week. We look forward to hearing of their experiences and achievements on their return, and we wish all families a safe and restful break.

Graduation Save the Date

Year 12 Graduation Ceremony – Thursday, 24 September

The Year 12 Graduation Ceremony for 2026 will be held in the DPA at 12:00pm. It is an expectation that Year 12 be in attendance in full and immaculate school uniform. This will be the students’ last time to attend a school function as members of the current school community. It is a very special ceremony where each Year 12 student will be acknowledged.  Parents of Year 12 and family members are warmly invited to attend this special occasion which will conclude at 2:00pm.

All students in Years 8 to 12 will be dismissed following the Graduation Ceremony and may be collected by families. Boarders will return to their houses to be collected. While it is preferrable that all students leave campus, arrangements will be made for those who need to catch later buses. Year 7 students who have siblings in Year 12 may attend the Graduation Ceremony and will sit with their House group. The remainder of Year 7 will not be required to attend school on 24 September.

Graduation Celebration – Friday, 6 November

The Year 12 Graduation Celebration is a significant event that marks the completion of their secondary education journey and the commencement of a new chapter in their lives. It is an occasion where we gather as a community to recognise their hard work, dedication, and growth throughout their time at Kinross Wolaroi School.

We warmly invite the Class of 2026 and their Parents to attend an evening of celebration!

Parent–Teacher Interviews, Years 7–12
