Seymour College is no longer continuing our partnership with the sustainable school shop from 1st November 2025. Most families use Facebook Marketplace or buy, swap, sell groups for school text books. We have a second-hand uniform rack in the administration foyer that families can access.
If students need to be picked up from school early, please send them with a note or call the general office ahead of time, as announcements can not be made during class time.
If you wish to speak with staff, please contact the general office to make an appointment as staff have teaching commitments during school hours.
We have recently seen an increase in unsafe driver behaviour around schools and in particular school crossings in Mitchell Shire, including poor parking, drive throughs, speeding, and ignoring School Crossing Supervisor instructions.
We have also noticed some risky behaviour from students, such as not using the crossing properly or being distracted by phones, riding bikes and scooters, parents not using the school crossing and crossing in areas that are not safe and if they do use the school crossing not listening to the SCS.
The attached School Crossing Stakeholder Pack has been developed by the Department of Transport, and Department of Education, we are asking for , parents, guardians and students, to slow down, pay attention, and follow the rules at crossings.
We take our school crossing supervisors safety seriously as well as your student’s safety and we have zero tolerance for parents, guardians, and any person parking illegally around a school zone, “Park illegally and we will fine you”.
The messages are clear and easy to understand, we want everyone to be safe around our school zones.

There have been some concerning road safety issues in Stewart Street. We have a school crossing which is staffed during school drop off and pick up times. This provides safe passage across the street for everyone. Please use the crossing and not endanger yourselves walking between buses into traffic.

Please name your children’s jumpers and jackets; we have many items in lost property without names. They cannot be returned if we don't know who they belong to.
