As Term 4 progresses, our Year 12 students are preparing for one of the most important milestones in their school journey — their VCE examinations. This period marks the culmination of years of dedication, learning, and growth, and we are proud of the commitment our students have shown throughout their studies.

The written exams officially begin for most students on Tuesday, 28 October, and run until Thursday, 20 November. During this time, we ask that all users and visitors to the Senior School building please be considerate of the exams taking place upstairs.

Students undertaking exams are encouraged to carefully check their timetables, and ensure they:

  • arrive at the Atrium 30 minutes prior to the start of their exam

  • bring a clear water bottle (with no labels, and only containing water)

  • bring all writing materials in a clear pencil case or zip lock bag

  • know and bring any other required materials such as dictionaries or Reference Books.

Our teachers have been offering revision sessions, practice exams, and one-on-one support to help students feel confident and well-prepared. We encourage students to make the most of these opportunities and to maintain a balanced routine — including regular breaks, good nutrition, and plenty of rest.

Families also play a vital role during this time. A calm, supportive home environment can make a world of difference, and even small gestures — like preparing a healthy breakfast or offering words of encouragement — can help students stay focused and positive.

We wish all of our Year 12 students the very best in these upcoming assessments.
