Year 8 Camp

During Week 2, Year 8 students spent four days at CYC Phillip Island Adventure Camp. It was the first time our Year 8 Cohort had visited this site. Our trip provided an excellent setting for outdoor learning and connection beyond the classroom. 

Students took part in activities including high ropes, the flying fox, giant swing, team rescue, crate climb and bushman’s breakfast. Each activity challenged and encouraged students to support one another. 

A special highlight was the Pinnacles walk, led by Mr Martin. The coastal views were spectacular and offered a great opportunity to see other parts of the island. We were most fortunate as the weather was spectacular during our stay on the island, allowing our students to make the most of their time outdoors and with their peers.
