Year 6

This term, the Year 6 students are completing a project on a topic of their choice — something that genuinely interests them. It is important that they select a subject they don’t already know too much about, as this encourages deeper learning and the development of new knowledge.

So far, we’ve had Rose teach us about the remarkable Stuart Diver and his incredible journey of survival and altruism. Harriet and Angela have enlightened us about the fascinating life of a chicken — complete with a visit from baby chicks and “Sharon,” the Bantam hen! It was a wonderful experience for the whole class.

We look forward to continuing our learning journey with more engaging presentations from our talented Year 6 students.
