Senior Secondary School

As we approach the end of another remarkable school year, our Year 12 students are completing their final external assessments, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey. All relevant details have been communicated to both students and parents, and we extend our heartfelt best wishes to our graduating cohort as they conclude their exams and prepare for life beyond PBC.

The application process for our 2026 student leadership team has now concluded, following a series of impressive interviews. This year brought forward a record number of applicants, each demonstrating outstanding passion, capability, and commitment to our school community. It has been a truly wonderful challenge to select from such a talented group; a reflection of the strong and growing desire for student voice and leadership within our school.

Throughout the year, we have proudly celebrated student achievements across the arts, sports, and academics. From inspiring performances and exhibitions to outstanding sporting accomplishments and academic excellence, our students have continued to shine in every arena. These moments of celebration have been made possible by the dedication and creativity of our staff, who work tirelessly to curate exceptional events that bring our families and wider community together. We are deeply grateful for their efforts and the vibrant spirit they help foster within our school.

As we wrap up the school year, we would like to thank our students, families, and staff for their continued support and enthusiasm throughout 2025. It has been a year filled with growth, achievement, and community spirit. We wish all our families a safe and joyful holiday break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another exciting year in 2026.

Release of year 12 results

QCAA will release student QCEs and Senior Statements and Statements of Results through the Student Portal on the myQCE website https://myqce.qcaa.qld.edu.au/index.html from 9 am on Wednesday December 17, 2025.

Students must know their Learner Unique Identifier (LUI) and password to log in and check their results. Students have been emailed and reminded on many occasions to log into this portal to check their account details.

Students can download hard copies of their qualifications directly from the Student Portal on the myQCE website. They will not be sent hard copies from PBC or the QCAA though they will be able to request hard copies in the QCAA Student Portal.

Please note that as Year 12 results and Levels of Achievement are calculated by the QCAA, Year 12 students will not receive an Exit Statement or Report from PBC; they will only receive published results from the QCAA via the Student Portal.

Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)

ATARs are calculated by the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC). All ATAR eligible students should have registered with QTAC (https://www.qtac.edu.au/atar/ ) to ensure that they receive their ATAR on December 18.
