Vivi F: Outstanding Athlete!
Vivi was spectacularly successful at the School Sport Australia Cross Country Championships in September.
She represented Victoria and BBPS and got 15th in Australia in her individual race of 3km! Her team of 5 other 11 year old girls got 3rd in the team event and in the relay and took home 2 bronze medals.
Vivi's mum writes: "She had a great experience over the 4 day championships meeting fellow athletes from Victoria and the rest of Australia and making new friends. We are so proud of her running achievements and being a supportive and kind team mates."
Vivi was also selected for Team Vic for the School Sport Australia Track and Field Championships in late Nov. We look forward to following her success next month!
Vivi "I had a really, really good time. It was fun to be with my friends and to be in Queensland. I was really nervous because it was a big race. I came 15th in the race and 3rd in the team medal (Victoria came first)."

Art Show

William "I went to the Art Show with Grandma and Deda (my grandpa) and I looked at all the different art pieces. I made a boomerang, which was really cool because it had different colours and golden colours. There was a picture of me and there are things that I like on the picture. Grandma was happy to see my art."

Frankie and Harriet "It was very special that our older siblings Harper and Marlowe could come to our art show because we made artwork that we are very proud of. We wanted them to see all of our hard work on display"

Ray "I used a special trick by splattering paint. I drew the moon and a house and the mountains. I so proud of my art. I also drew some meteors and some trees. I am really happy that my art was in the art show."

Grades 3 and 4
Charlotte W "We were learning Japanese Hiragana and we were writing the vowels 5 times and then we use language nut to work on our Japanese vocabulary. I like learning about a different culture. If I go to Japan one day and someone asks me a question. I will know what it means."

Grades 5 and 6

State Schools Spectacular
Rose "It was a really good experience for the grade 5's who have just joined the choir. They got to experience a huge event that we only get to participate in every 2 years. It was magical to be able to see all the backing singers and the orchestra - together is sounded harmonious. I felt really lucky to be part of it. We were really fortunate to be part of that opportunity. I would like to thank Ms Wickes, Mr Stock and Mrs Coutts for all of the work they did to make this such a great experience."

Grade 3/4 Camp
Louisa "I really liked the crate climbing because you could go as high as you wanted but because I was wearing a harness i wasn't scared. The food was really good. The best meal was the Souvlaki on the second night. I enjoyed being in a cabin with my friends. We had so much fun."
