On the Foreshore by Indigenous Australian Artist Dennis Golding. 

Last year, our school worked in partnership with Bayside Council and the MCA on the C3 West arts program. Students in Years 10 and 11 had the opportunity to participate in a workshop with acclaimed artist Dennis Golding. Images that they created in this workshop have been used to inspire the iconography used in this installation. 

On the Foreshore was made from repurposed shipping containers, the installation reimagines the foreshore as a place to pause, connect and reflect, inviting the community to experience contemporary First Nations storytelling in an open public setting.

NSW School Sports - JJ Boccia Team 

Well done to our Boccia Team—Mahdi M, Xavi D, Kaiden L, Sanchir B, and Wesley G. 

Our team competed in the Schools Competition 2026 in Marrickville on Friday, 1 May. The students gave a strong performance and proudly finished 7th overall.

Biennale of Sydney - White Bay Power Station 

Last week, our Year 11 and 12 Visual Arts students visited the Biennale of Sydney exhibition at White Bay Power Station. Students participated in an insightful guided tour, engaging in in-depth study and discussion of a range of contemporary artworks on display.

It was a valuable opportunity to experience large-scale contemporary art firsthand and deepen their understanding of artistic practice and ideas.

 2026 Cross Country Carnival

Our annual Cross Country Carnival was our best yet! We had record participation and we expect this to continue to grow - we are so proud of every single student who tried their best.

Congratulations and good luck to the students who have advanced to the Eastern Suburbs Zone Carnival.
