Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

KCC Youth Ambassadors visited St Joseph's Primary School, Johnson St. Wagga Wagga, to run the Year 6 Confirmation Retreat day. The fourteen KCC students organised and facilitated various activities throughout the day to help the Year 6 students prepare for their Confirmation day. The students gave presentations as well as large and small group workshops to encourage the Year 6 students to reflect and appreciate the significance of their special day when receiving the Holy Spirit. Bishop Mark Edwards OMI was also present during the morning. In his session he invited some of our students to participate while he delivered his talk to the year six students. 

This initiative is supported by CEDWW and the CSYMI youth ministry program. The KCC students are leaders in this new endeavour and have received encouragement from Bishop Mark, as well as high praise from St Joseph’s staff for their previous visit to the school to promote Caritas Project Compassion giving.
