A Heartfelt Farewell to Antonette Ram

It is with sadness that we announce the departure of Antonette Ram, Business Development Manager from the Head Office team. Antonette has been an integral part of our family for the last 2 years, contributing her expertise, and positive energy to us all. We thank Antonette for her hard work, professionalism, and commitment. Her presence will be sincerely missed.

We are confident that this will not be the last we see of her, as we are sure real estate is in her blood. Wishing Antonette all the best.

Celebrating Support for Auckland University Buddy Programme

First National is dedicated to fostering the growth of New Zealand's students through the Auckland University Buddy programme, where students are given hands on experience in the property discipline of their choice. Valuation, Surveying, Leasing, Sales etc.

In September, Head Office welcomed 7 students, who would like to work in real estate sales and property management in both the commercial and residential sector, providing them with comprehensive exposure to all facets of the business through a day of training and insights shared by Eric Chase, Scott Bentley, Esme Cole, Ashok Patel, Gino Perano, and Jamsheed Sidhwa.

Recently Trudy Weston, General Manager & Antonette Ram, Business Development Manager enjoyed an evening at Auckland University which focused on expressing gratitude to the individuals and businesses who had supported their students through the Programme.

The event showcased speakers like entrepreneur Tony Falkenstein, sharing his journey in the world of business. You can read more about Tony's generosity  here

We are excited for more sessions with these business school students in the future!

Inspiring Resilience

In the heart of FN Collective (Stratford) beats the indomitable spirit of Renne Zehnder, a remarkable individual whose life has been shaped by an extraordinary journey.

Many may not know that Renne was born with a heart defect called Truncus Arteriosus, but her story is not defined by limitations; it's a testament to determination and resilience.

Renne has faced two surgeries in her lifetime, with the last one dating back 25 years. Now, as the doctors recommend an upgrade, Renee approached this surgery with the same unwavering determination that has marked her life.

Living with a heart condition could be a deterrent for many, but not for Renne. At the age of just 3, she defied expectations and swiftly recovered from her surgeries. From flipping trampolines to attempting to ride bikes just a week after open heart surgery, Renne embraced life on the farm with the tenacity that defines her spirit.

The surgeries never stopped her then, and they won't hold her back now. Renne credits her parents for not sheltering her from the world, and for allowing her to pursue anything she set her mind to. Their decision to let her be herself, heart condition notwithstanding, shaped Renne into the fighter she is today.

Renne acknowledges her journey and expresses gratitude for the unwavering support of her parents. She vows to triumph once again. Her resilience is an inspiration, and as she sets her sights on recovery.  It's no surprise that she was the winner of the 2023 Next Generation Award.

Renne's story is a reminder that, in the face of challenges, the heart of a fighter beats the strongest. She's back in action in 2024 – stronger, bolder, and ready to conquer whatever comes her way.

What a Star!

Karla Evans, administrator for FN Riverton has just come back from training and is now a Volunteer Recruit Firefighter. Not stopping there, she has also achieved her real estate Salesperson license to help out the sales staff. What an absolute inspiration.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

A Kiwi Thanksgiving

Ali Green, Saleperson at FN Gore and family have recently adopted the tradition of Thanksgiving, a holiday not typically celebrated in NZ. Despite its novelty, it has become a cherished occasion dedicated to reflecting on the year's blessings and expressing gratitude for family and all they've received.

This year, her Nan stole the show by winning the competition, sparking friendly competition within the whanau to outdo each other in the coming years.

It's about connecting with loved ones, expressing gratitude, and strengthening bonds. Ali encourages seizing the moment by reaching out or, better yet, visiting those who matter most.

Happy Birthday

Cheers to the birthday celebrations at the Royal Oak office. Wishing Ambi Basati, Branch Manager for FN Pinnacle & Trudy Weston, General Manager for Head Office a big Happy Birthday!
