Year 6 Legacy Art Piece

Each year our Year 6 cohort create an art piece for our school. This year they designed and painted some character cushions for the school library. Some popular books were shortlisted and from here students began to think about how best to create a bold, simple and colourful graphic. They worked in groups to plan, paint and outline their designs. We are lucky to have an array of children's books represented from Winnie The Pooh to Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus. The cushions were presented to the whole school at the last assembly and we are all eager to see them brightening up the library in the coming weeks. Exceptional work from our Year 6 students.
