Sustainability

Be part of the change ...

Micro Forest project

A BIG congratulations to our outgoing Sustainability Captains, Hardu 6C, Dylan 6T and Jerry X 6T.  They have done a terrific job throughout 2023, introducing Lights off Lunchtime, contributing to Clean up Schools day, making sure our recycle bins were ready for collection, judging competitions, making announcements related to sustainability and many more duties completed throughout the year.  We wish them the best of luck in future and hope they keep the sustainability message going strong into the years ahead!

We also welcome our new Sustainability Captains for 2024, who along with the Year 5 cohort, have already been working hard and contributing to building our Microforest which is a work in progress. We look forward to working on our 2024 sustainability projects and keeping our school community up to date on initiatives and actions we can take to make our school and community more sustainable.

All the best for Christmas and the New Year

Thank you to the families who have volunteered to help with our recycling bins, care for our chickens Almond, Midnight and Pom Pom, and care for and water our fruit orchard and raised garden beds, over the Summer holidays (21 December 2023 to 28 January 2024).  If you're interested in helping in this way, please email.
