Remembrance Day

On Saturday 11 November, our Year 9 Class Leaders from our Bentleigh East Campus represented the College at the Bentleigh RSL Remembrance Day Service.  Held at Hodgson Reserve, the service acknowledged those who gave their lives in conflict situations. These services, as held around our country on this day, have a history relating to the Armistice commencing in November, 1918, which led to the end of the First World War.

A Month of Remembrance

To mark the special way that the Catholic tradition responds to death, St Bede’s College has a Perpetual Memorial Book that is kept in the Mentone Campus Chapel as an invitation to others to join you in praying for your deceased relatives and friends.

Should you wish to have the name of a family member or friend who has died added to the Memorial Book, please email Ria Greene. These names will be especially prayed for throughout November.
