EEHL?

Year 7 Medieval Day!

For a whole day, all of the Year 7 students participated in a full day of interactive Medieval activities. Each House rotated through Archery, Weapons and Armour, Crime and Punishments and a Tournament to end the day. All of the Year 7s and even the teachers learnt and saw what it was like for people of that era. 

Year 8 EAL Love for Writing Excursion

The Fern and Eucalyptus 8EAL group went to Melbourne CBD for a whole day in Term 4. We went to ACMI museum and the National Gallery of Victoria. At the NGV, we learnt about Aboriginal paintings, modern photos and the 3D printed sculptures. We appreciated that there are many forms of art and we can get inspiration for writing in many places. We also saw and learnt how film has been developed and changed throughout history in ACMI. 

9E English - Persuasive Writing Excursion

In Term 4, 9E was learning about persuasive writing and had to choose their own topics to write a full essay about. As many students chose art as a persuasive topic, 9E ventured into the city to physically appreciate and explore art in Melbourne CBD. All the HLT, teachers and staff present were exceptionally proud of their behaviour the whole day.
