Friendly Reminders for Our New Canteen
With the new canteen now operational, we would like to share some essential reminders. Please note that the canteen is no longer managed by the school, so it’s important to submit your lunch orders by the designated cutoff time. We recognize that lunch orders can sometimes be forgotten, but this has become a recurring issue.
As this is a privately operated business, all lunches must be paid for on the same day; no invoices will be sent to families moving forward. Where possible we kindly ask you to drop in lunch for your child if the cut off is missed.
Important Notice: Bus Zone Regulations
Please refrain from dropping off or parking in the bus zone. This area is under regular patrol, and the vicinity near our kiss-and-drop lane has also been monitored, as there have been reports of vehicles obstructing Bloomfield St
It would be unfortunate for our families to encounter unnecessary fines.

Important Reminders for Parents
School Hat Reminder
We have noticed many students arriving each day without hats. Please make sure your child brings a hat daily, clearly labeled with their name.
Uniform Policy Reminder
Sports Uniform for Boys and Girls
- Navy embroidered logo shorts
- Embroidered logo shirt
- Microfibre embroidered tracksuit
- SPORTS SOCKS-Must be plain white and cover the ankles. Students with incorrect socks will be asked to attend the Office and change their socks.
- School Hats with St Xavier’s logo must be worn all year round. Please label all clothing, especially hats.
- Shoes: School shoes must be completely black school shoes, boots or joggers. Skate style shoes are not acceptable footwear.
Hair
Hair should be neat and tidy at all times and if long must be tied back using maroon, black, navy or white bands or ribbons. Students wearing incorrect bands or ribbons will be asked to attend the Office for a replacement. Extreme haircuts and mullet type hair cuts are not acceptable and best saved for holidays.
No makeup or coloured fingernail polish is to be worn at any time. Nail polish remover is available in the Office and students will be asked to remove incorrect polish.
Jewellery
Students will be asked to remove incorrect jewellery and place it in a snap lock bag to take home.
Birthday Food
Please keep in mind we have children in every grade across the school who have particular food allergies. Some of these are very serious and we need to keep everyone safe. The best options for a class birthday treat at school are water icy poles or a lollipop per child. It is best to avoid cakes, muffins etc. We appreciate your support in this area.
School Fees
