Rugby 7's
On Wednesday 23rd July two teams from Inverell High school attended the Armidale Rugby 7’s carnival. The weather was atrocious to say the least but the U 14’s Girls and U 18’s boys soldered on valiantly. The girls showed great courage won their first game by 3tries.Games against Warialda and TAS where hard fought with the girls narrowly losing by bonus points. The U 18 boys side ably led by Lawson Walsh had a great time exploiting the wet conditions to win against Armidale secondary college. Javon Gordon scoring a try and sliding from 10 metres out was the highlight of the game.
Although the conditions were not great all of the students had a great time and displayed all of the attributes that Inverell High School tries to instil into our students-CONTENDO PROCEDERE!
