Inverell High Takes the Stage – School Spectacular,

CAPERS & More!

We are thrilled to share some incredible news that highlights just how remarkable our school community is!

Our school dance group has been selected to perform in both the Combined Schools Performance and the State Dance Ensemble for this year’s School Spectacular — an outstanding achievement!

A huge congratulations to Tink, Elkie, and Ella, who have been selected into Featured Dance Ensembles — what an amazing opportunity to showcase their talent on such a grand stage!

In a true honour, Inverell High has also been chosen to host rehearsals for the upcoming show — a testament to the calibre of our facilities and the strength of our performing arts culture.

We’re also excited to announce that our dancers and Mrs Alexander are part of the upcoming CAPERS Showcase as both choreographers and performers. They will be performing alongside a variety of other schools from across the Northwest region later this year.

In a school first, we are incredibly proud of Hallie Youman, who has been selected as a Student Choreographer for this year’s School Spectacular!

Behind the scenes, Mrs Alexander has also been chosen to join the School Spectacular Choreographic Team, taking charge of over 100 Kindergarten to Year 2 students from across the state — an extraordinary achievement!

Finally, we want to extend further congratulations to Ava, Zahli, Stevi, and Layla, who recently participated in the region’s Dance Camp. They had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals across a wide range of genres — an invaluable experience to further their artistic development.

We are absolutely blown away by the level of representation and talent coming from Inverell High School. We can’t wait to watch our students and staff shine — both on stage and on screen — later this year!
