Sea Life Art

🎨 Exploring the Ocean Through Art! 🐠🌊1SB have been diving deep into the wonders of the sea 🐙🐬 as they explore the world of marine animals through art. Inspired by the beauty and diversity of sea creatures 🐢🦀, students have been experimenting with a variety of artistic mediums — from watercolours and pastels to collage and printing ✂️🖌️. Each piece is a unique expression of creativity and curiosity, capturing everything from shimmering seastars to friendly fish 🐋. Through this project, students not only developed their artistic skills but also gained a greater appreciation for ocean life and the importance of protecting our marine environments 🌎💙🖼️🎉

Dotty Dogs

🎨 Colourful Canines Inspired by Heather Galler 🐶🌈This term, students took inspiration from artist Heather Galler’s bold and vibrant style to create their own dazzling dog artworks! Using colourful dots, patterns, and bright contrasting colours, each student designed a unique pup full of personality and flair 🟡🔵🟥. This project encouraged creativity, attention to detail, and a playful approach to colour and design. Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!

🚌 Don't Let the Pigeon... Take Over the Art Room! 🐦🎨Inspired by the hilarious book Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems, our students created their very own cheeky pigeon characters! Using the beloved story as a starting point, they practised drawing expressive pigeons and added colourful dotted backgrounds to bring their artwork to life 🟡🔴🔵. This fun activity encouraged students to explore character design, emotion, and pattern while connecting literacy and visual art. The finished pieces are full of humour, creativity, and colour—just like the book itself! 📚✨

Giraffes

🦒 Giraffes in Colour! 🎨1SB created stunning giraffe artworks using vibrant oil pastels! Inspired by the unique patterns and gentle nature of these amazing animals, students explored blending, shading, and texture to bring their giraffes to life. Each piece is filled with personality and colour, showcasing the creativity and growing skills of our young artists.
