PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

As we prepare to celebrate Public Education Week 2025, we are excited to embrace this year’s theme: "Ignite Your Potential." This week serves as a powerful reminder of the opportunities available to our students and the importance of fostering an environment where every child can thrive.

We have an exciting lineup of events planned to engage and inspire our community. On Thursday, we will kick off the day with a special assembly featuring an exciting item by our talented Year 3 students. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the creativity and hard work of our students.

Following the assembly, we invite all families to explore our open classrooms, where you can witness firsthand the innovative teaching and learning happening at GVPS. After this, please join us for a delightful community picnic lunch. This gathering is a fantastic chance to connect with other families, share stories, and celebrate the vibrant spirit of our school community.

I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our amazing and hardworking teachers. Their unwavering dedication and commitment to nurturing our students truly help to ignite their potential and shape their futures. We are incredibly grateful for their efforts in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Throughout the week, be sure to check our Facebook feed, where we will be highlighting the amazing achievements of some of our alumni since leaving GVPS. It’s inspiring to see how our former students are making an impact in various fields, and we encourage you to celebrate their successes with us!

In addition, I am thrilled to announce our inaugural virtual art exhibition in this edition of the newsletter! This online showcase features the remarkable artwork created by the talented artists at GVPS. I encourage you to explore the exhibition and appreciate the creativity and expression of our students.
