We will finish Term Three with a focus on RESPONSIBILITY, and this focus will continue into the first week of Term Four.

Over the school holidays, we encourage you to take the opportunity to talk with your children about the many ways they can demonstrate responsibility at home and in the community. We hope you enjoy exploring some simple ideas together and encouraging your children to take ownership of tasks and choices in their everyday lives.

We have been using sports team coloured tokens as an acknowledgement system in our school. All teachers have been distributing tokens to any students that have been showing the values of RESPECT, SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY through our fortnightly expected behaviour focuses.

Each fortnight a tally of the tokens is shared at our school assembly. The winning team at the end of the term receive a group reward. Last term it was a casual clothes day and this term we will enjoy some hot chips together!

Introducing Our New Ticket System!

We are excited to introduce our new School Values Ticket System!

When children demonstrate our school values of Respect, Safety and Responsibility through their everyday behaviours, they will receive a sports team-coloured ticket. These tickets will be collected and counted throughout the term, with the results contributing to our end-of-term acknowledgement of students’ positive behaviour and commitment to our school values.

We are also excited to provide opportunities to celebrate individual students who consistently demonstrate one or more of our school values. At each assembly, two students will be selected at random from the ticket barrel. These students will then have the opportunity to choose a reward from our Choice Board as a special acknowledgement of their positive choices and behaviour.

We look forward to seeing our students continue to demonstrate Respect, Safety and Responsibility and celebrating the wonderful ways they contribute to our school community!
