Specialist Learning - PE

In Physical Education, the whole school has been preparing for the annual Sports Day. Students have been learning to throw, jump and run with correct technique, all with the main focus of helping their house colour. 

Sports Day was a huge success, and the way the community came together was a real highlight. Thanks to all the teachers who helped on the day to make it happen.

I would like to give a special mention to our Year 6 leaders, Niamh, Jack R, Lucas R, Maria and Jack O, who ran the junior events. These students have been helping behind the scenes since week two of term three, giving up a lot of their lunchtimes to get everything ready. They delivered big time on the day with enthusiasm and leadership. Seeing students step up like this is one of the things that makes Sports Day such a wonderful event.
